Advisory groups play an essential role in city government. Advisory group members consist of Mayoral and City Council appointees, elected officials, or Governor appointees. Each group is established to secure the participation of City of Tampa residents to promote good government, and the effective and efficient delivery of services.
Beginning May 14, 2024, the Boards and Commissions management system will have a new look. Besides viewing reports in a new clean format, members of the community may now use a fillable form to apply for positions available within various boards and committees. Our goal, by upgrading this platform, is to improve the overall experience for every Tampa resident.
